What was the last time you send a hand-written mail? How many emails do you send to others every day? Similarities: Sending a hand-written mail or sending an email is one method of communicating, exchanging information. There are some similarities between using email and using the post office. The first thing is the route where the mail will be sent. Both the post office and email must use a variety of routes in order to send the mail to the correct person. The second thing is the address, we need to provide the address of the receiving person, without the address, the mail cannot be sent. A Visit From Erik Hanberg

This is the first guest speaker we have in the course, who is an expert in technology, Erik Hanberg. It was very interesting hearing about his experience with technology, and it helped me to learn more about the impact that technology has on the industry. I was surprised when I know the amount of money Erik had to pay for sending an email back then, because today, we all can send an email just for free. I was also impressed when I know that Erik had jumped between jobs and gained so many experiences in business. In addition, I also learned that the technology is so important to our industry we have right now. Since the technology appeared years ago, it took over the industry, and if businesses could not adapt the changes, they would not be able to grow. Furthermore, as the technology is growing so fast, our information, our lives are becoming transparent. This is another thing that I learn from Erik’s presentation.
